I am starting to train at gym more and more lately due to the freezing temps in JHB.

Due to a difficult schedule i dont always make spinning classes.

I was thinking that any keen spinning instructors out there wanting to make some extra $$ could start doing spinning podcasts

Basically a 1 hour podcast with a full spinning workout.

You could charge a little for it or use an advertising model.

Any ideas or suggestions?

very good idea that. of course some instructors may be a little hesitant in something like that since they may not see their clients again, they'll all be at home training to the podcast!

Someone posted this link a while ago.

This is full spinning classes with warm up and cool downs and some even have stretches at the end. :)

I have downloaded most of them and I find it works well.

Good idea, why not just build a website where you or instructors can roll your own spinning class?

Workouts could be saved as audio only, or audio and video for your home computer + IDT or a compatible spin bike.

Use a video library of tour stages or the video clips of your choice to build a video accompaniment.

Have a library of music sortable by beats per minute, so that you can select the right tunes to actually cycle on the beat (for the musically autistic among us, ahem) and according to the type of effort required - climb, sprint, high cadence, low cadence etc.

Someone'll do it soon I guess - it's not really an if but a when. With a network gaming type setup for your IDT you could even train with your mates remotely and race against each other.
