I might be going to PE for a week to cook for the Boks during the tri Nations. Are there any easy MTB rides around the area?. Will just be getting back on the bike after 6 weeks off with a chest infection

Norm Hudlin Trails are located just off Kragga Kamma Road in PE. A flat 20km loop consisting mostly of singletrack and jeep track. There is an event on the same day as the Tri-Nations match at this location. Baakens Valley has a lot to offer but recent flooding has washed away some of the trail. Speak to the guys at Cyclo Pro or any other local bike shop for info on where to ride in the valley. Best bet is the national course and surrounds. If you looking for an easy ride try the boardwalk from Shark Rock/Hobie Beach(or even Kings Beach) to Cape Recife and back.

Other options include Longmore Forest(Permit required), Woodridge College trails and Thornhill trails all just outside PE. Probably best to be accompanied by someone whom has ridden those trails before.
