Specialized or Scott???

Over the past few days I've been looking at the 29ers and even rode 1

I think I'll be heading in this direction instead.

 

I've looked at options and it comes down to these 2:

 

Scott Scale 29 Elite

 

or

 

Giant XTC 29er 1

 

Which has the better/ lighter frame as I will upgrade components later

Is there also any other options I should consider at 15k?
