Hi

I'm thinking of getting a Polar CS600.

The question: Has anyone with one of these experienced any problems in rainy / muddy conditions? (minus power of course) Think of Sani2c day 1 2006. Mind you that was exteme! smiley4.gif

Tx!

I was kinda wondering about real world performance.... I've had 'water resistant' trip computers indicating I'm doing 5km/hr when I'm clearly doing about 40km/hr in the rain......

The difference between polar and and other computers is that polar is completely wireless.

With normal computers you have a contact area where the computers fits into the bracket and when it rains then the contacts get wet and you have a bad connection which results in inaccurate readings.

The only problem i foresee is that if you are doing mountain biking and you have mud buildup on the sensor it might not work so well
