Gambit Posted January 25, 2012 Share Hi AllSome advice please, have a potentially good deal on a revelation fork with a straight steerer however I have a tapered head...question: how reliable are the adapters i.e. Do they comprimise the shock at all? Will really appreciate any feedback...need to make a decision asap thanks
TheV Posted January 25, 2012 Share go for it, performance not affected in any way, however the mixer headsets are not cheap. on-one.co.uk have a nice mixer headset, u can even use an angleset to give you options on slight geometry tweaks. Gambit Posted January 25, 2012 Share Thanks dude...won't I be able to use the headset I have now? I have a tapered fork at the moment, thought all I needed was the adapter and I could change to straight steerer?
