Replace SLX E-type with SRAM

I have a 2010 Epic Comp carbon with a SLX (E-type) front derailer, which I would like to replace with a SRAM one - is there one that will work or do I have to stick to Shimano?

there are sram ones which work - think it is the s1 types, got it on mine, will have a look and let you know

Thx! I tried a search and got things about backing plates and direct mount etc etc - so getting confused!

Will get the specs and send them - one thing - on your current setup there is a "black bcking plate" on which the shimano derraleur fits - you have to remove this for the sram - easy just two bolts - if you are in a hurry give Kevin a shout at buycycle he knows which model you need - he helped me out when I did my build.
