Hi,

I am also in the process of going through setting up my fork and shock.

i have a Fox RLC 100mm fork, Question before measuring the sag were should the slow compression knob be? and what setting for the Rebound? these will affect the amount of sag???

Shock is a Fox RP23, same question in what position should the lever be in ? off with compression on "0" and which way for the rebound, fast or slow? this will also affect the sag

Can not find answers to these anywere on the web????

For Propedal:

1 -3 is the amount of compression when using propedal

  1. Using propedal will almost have no effect
  2. Using propedal will have some effect
  3. Using propedal will close on completely lock the shock (depending on the amount of air you run)

Adaptive Logic

The Adaptive Logic RP23

"Climb/sprint mode is always at your fingertips (3). In addition, you get to choose two levels of ProPedal: (1) light / (2) medium, or you can run it full open (0) for downhill plushness."

To set your shock you'll need to be in the "open" setting you will use when out riding. So, yes compression and propedal setting will have an effect on sag, rebound not.

On a fork compression will have less of an effect. As long as it's not locked when doing setup. On a fork compression is used...

Low Speed Compression

  1. Dial out (based on riding style and personal preference) low speed "dive" when braking
  2. dial in small bump performance

High Speed Compression

  1. Offer some bottom out resistance
  2. Fork dive when taking big hits
  3. Dial in plushness and small bump performance

As for your RP23. I have one of those on my 4X bike serving 100mm travel. Again, this is all personal preference, but I run mine at a medium rebound with 10-15% sag.

Note that even though your 4X bike also has 100mm travel it's a beast of a different color all together. 10% sag will almost certainly not give you full travel on a normal bike.
