Entries open from 05:45 Best Single track and jeep track in SA 55 km MTB =[pre entry R 140 -] and [late entry R 160 -] 30 km MTB = [pre entry R 80 -] and [late entry R 100 -] 20 km MTB =[pre entry R 50 -] and [late entry R 70 -] 3 km ‘KIDDIES RACE ‘ = FREE The 60 km is challenging and will test skills and endurance to the limit. This race is extreme and for die hard mountain bikers. Single track and jeep track makes up 80% of the route. There are a few steep climbs with nice drop offs. 'Bull runs' and 'chicken runs' on all technical sections! 23 km of the race will be in the nature reserve! The 30 km is challenging and will test skills. Single track and jeep track makes up 50% of the route. 23 km of the race will be in the nature reserve! The 20 km is for the fun rider and family. Single track and jeep track. the whole route is in the nature reserve TRAIL RUN: Starts at 06:30 No pre entries. Entries will be at the venue on race day! Entries open from 05:45 Single track and jeep track 15 km trail run = R 60 - 7 km trail run = R 30 - OPEN WATER SWIM: Starts at 15:00 No pre entries. Entries will be at the venue on race day! swartpiet Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 This might be a small event but I would certainly love to do the MTB race. They have some awesome singletrack.
Kai Posted February 13, 2012 Author Posted February 13, 2012 This is an awesome race with a 15m log bridge crossing a stream, most of the 60km is single track, and the race is capped at 300 riders for the MTB race. Will definitely be worth the travel.
