reteid Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 evening all.i have a mongoose canaan elite wich has served me well.i have a problem and would appreciate any help.my suspension link(do not know the correct term)has ovalized.it is the black link that is very near the bb.if have been told to take it to enginering shop to have it redrilled and a sleeve put in.i have taken to a few shops but no one wants to do it as they say they cannot charge me what it is worth.so i have resorted to fixing it with a coke can as a sleeve and it should keep me hopefully a few weeks/months.my question is 1 where can i find this black link and if it cannot be bought where is a enginering shop/diy oke who can help.i am in cape town northern suburbs.help help help help.
