Great Start to 2008

Just got some good news to report back on and boy it's difficult kill a good horse. Went to the former Colnago agents in SA and even though they no longer deal with the brand they were more than happy to strip and inspect the frame and offer advice.

 

The hanger was removed and literally fell into 3 pieces. There is a slight bend in the hanger but no cracks or major damage and the problem can be resolved. Whew!!! The hanger did it's job in absorbing the impact to max.

 

Even though they are now solely Cinelli agents they have comitted to securing a new hanger for the HP stay and I should be up and running middle of next week. Damage to frame R350......residual damage of componentry R6K. A heap of thanks to John & Robbie at Cycle Science for all their help and advice.

 

PS. Perot Co......the components were Shimano bud!!
