Sheldon Brown Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 I'm looking at a Scott Team AFD road bike with Shimano 105 components, richie wheel set andgator skin tyres. The guy wants R 6000, what should i be paying or is R 6k a fair price ?

R6 000 for a bike this age with what is probably 9sp is pricey. R4 000 is more reasonable. There are plenty of newer 10speed bikes on the Hub for R6 000 odd. The one you are looking at is probably the silver one. I saw one for sale not to long ago for R3 500
