Big thanks to the lab for sorting out my cracked rocker link on my GF. Turnaround time from being fubar to riding again = 23 hours. Told deane that I need the bike asap since I have a race next weekend as well as training for sani, and he pulled finger.

 

Just a sidenote, phoned a couple of LBS to help with my issue and they are not doing themselves any favours by not managing my expectations. When you say you will phone me back....do so, even if it''s bad news or you cannot help me, leaving me in the dark doesn't leave me a warm feeling.

Wish I could say the same about Cycle Lab Cape Town. Ordered a rim through them for a wheel repair and after three weeks of me phoning them for updates (because they don't phone you back), I eventually get told that you cannot order the rim that I need on its own, and that my wheel needs to go to PE to be built up. Ridiculous!

Eish that's rough...hope you informed Andrew, in their defence they are at the mercy of distributors / agents but they should have enough clout to make some noise.
