Rate routes you have ridden at Van Gaalens

Lets see your opinions on the different routes at Van Gaalens. Lets keep the ratings standard and use 3 measures, Technical, Difficulty, and Enjoyment; and rate them out of 10.

Ratings will vary as does riders ability and fitness, but this isnt about absolute values, but peoples own views.

 

Greek Church:

Technical: 8/10

Difficulty: 9/10

Enjoyment: 5/10

Rating is also dependant on your frame of reference. Ie. the difficulty level you have previously ridden. The Greek Church loop at VG may be the most challenging trails you have done but as you become more experienced it will become much easier .

 

We usually add the GC loop for a longer ride after riding hills up and down TMiems, Poffadder, DaggaPad etc which is why I rated it slightly high at 7 in difficulty.
