DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE:

The course setup will be similar to the successful 2011 layout. As with every quality event though, we have some great additions.

At Eston we believe that it is not just about adding miles of single track, but key that the single track added is of a quality that riders can enjoy and ride well.

The 60km route (shortened from 75km 2 years ago) and 40km takes in much of the great Eston area, including the vast sugarcane fields and indigenous forests that line the agricultural lands.

The Tala 18km Family Ride is a unique opportunity for riders to get up close and personal with the superb wildlife that Tala has, from Rhino to Zebra and Giraffe, this is the only chance during the year that normal public members get to ride in this wilderness area.

For the kids, the ever popular Milky Lane 10km ride provides heaps of family fun on the same course as 2011.

Hi

My wife and lighty (7) are looking to do the 18km option. How technical is this ride and how much climbing is involved (still need to pack on some meat on those legs of his!)?

Hope you can shed light.

How about posting the profiles for the races (esp 60km) so we know what we're in for & can pace ourselves?
