Hi,

I've started riding mtb in Dec last year, thus I'm still new on the component side. Wanted to convert my steed last month and after phoning different shops country-wide (we do not have a proper lbs) to get advice and components I ended-up phoning buy-cycle out of desperation after 2 months of frustration.

I had everything in place but needed a new tapered fox fork with quick release. Everybody just stated that they are sorry and can't assist as there is only thru-axle available. What a surprise! The people immediately assisted me and provided me with excellent advise! They asked which wheels I'm using - told them AC .... their response - not a problem...just buy the adapter for your hub! Now why could not one other shop tell me this? After 2 months of frustration I got all the fork and adapter shipped overnight - and my bike was ready for some serious fun for the week-end.

I will really recommend them - was definitely worth it! Just love my bike!.

I agree. Their prices also seem to be much better than any of the other online shops including those based overseas. Its nice dealing with a SA company and not having the hassle of getting stuff through customs.

I get the feeling they want to get it right for me unlike my LBS who make me feel like they're doing me a favour by selling me something and that I should be happy with what I get.

Good luck to them!
