Leeuwenboschfontein 3 Day Stage Event

 

this is not a race but a ride!

 

Distances: 33 to 35km's per day for the "short route" and 60 to 65km's per day for the "long"route

 

Trails: mostly jeep track, some 4x4 trails added for the technically inclined

 

Venue: Leeuwenboschfontein Guest farm

 

Accommodation: camping at Leeuwenboschfontein or choose to stay in one of the cottages, also quite a few private nature reserves and 4x4 farms with accommodation in 10km's raduis. See website for full list of accommodation available.

 

Special: what makes this event different and special except for the trails

we encourage you to bring your family and non cycling friends with and make it end of the year fun.

You can chop and change between distances, no need to stick with the short or the long

Saturday eve we have a spitbraai and families bring blankets to the big lawn area and we all feast on the great food!

we have a kiddies "race" (2km's) on Saturday with waterpoints and all

 

Activities: 4x4 trials, zipline, dam & swimming pool, hiking, private nature reserves

What amount of vertical climbing do you have per day? I tried to view this on the Makadas site but it doesn't seem to load that bottom part of the page.

Yes it is because I haven't loaded the newest info yet....

We're working on a brand new stage and that is the main reason.
