Novatec hubs for AM / trail - any good?

Need a new rear wheel - expensive option is a whole new wheelset (looking into a few options, including Sun Ringle Charger and Nukeproof Generators), but if I can't make that happen I'm thinking a budget option could be the Sun Ringle MTX29 mated to a Novatec hub

 

This is the model I'm looking at, the D042SB

Anyone know if they're any good, and if they'll survive the abuse? Novatec's site isn't exactly informative
