The cycling frenzy continues to grow and it takes us to Gugulethu to find out what cyclists are doing there to grow the movement. Bring your story, your toys and your ideas to share with the rest of the cycling and wanabee cycling community! This is our opportunity as citizens to help shape a future Cape Town resplendent with a bike movement and a healthier safer environment where all communities can take to the streets and connect.

 

Route 11:15 Departure from town (Central Train Station)

12:00 -Meeting point #1 @ Athlone stadium (cyclists from Gugs will meet us there)

12:30 – Meeting point #2 @Heideveld train station

13:00 – Meeting point #3 Pisto’s (start & end point for our Gugs mini ride)

13:40 Group reconvenes

14:00 CycleLINKS begins

Speakers will include Biclying Empowerment Network (BEN), Gugulethu Cycling Club, Imfundo Cycling Club, Velokhaya -The Life Cycling Academy, Transport Department (CoCT), and many more...

15:30 Food and drinks

16:30 Group rides back to town
