Nah bru. DH is not cross country. None of the top dogs ran bigger wheels. Maybe on the wide open stuff like MSA and pieter maritzburg.

 

KHS has a dh bike running 650b's. and they are running a dorado so there are no front tire clearance issues so they could even run a 29er front and a 650b on the rear.

 

Logan Bingelli is supposedly riding the KHS 650b at the rampage which is sure to silence the wheel weakness critics.

 

It would be interesting. Whether that makes a diff to joe plonker is another thing.

 

According to the internets Joe Barns will be riding a proto 650b Orange in enduro races soon and the morewood sakuma will be available in 650b soon too.

I know for a fact that pyga are working on a 650b. Looking forward to that.
