NIGHT RIDE AT MODDERFONTEIN: WED 19 SEPTEMBER

HI ALL,

 

I will be leading a night ride on Wednesday 19 September 2012 we will begin meeting at 33 High Street restaurant, and will embark at approximately 19h00.

 

Please ensure that you have a functional headlight, tubeless tires, and that your bike is in working order.

 

Entry fee is R40.00 or use your multi-card.

 

Registration will be open from 18h00 at 33 High Street.

 

Please RSVP so we can get a rough idea of numbers.

Yeah, thanks for organising.

Was amazed at how many people arrived and had a great time.

 

Somehow we jumped groups half way and only ended up doing about 22km's, but will make up for it next time

A nice ride. Unfortunately Laulil came down hard at speed, when the collected one of the directional signs. His front wheel was totally pretzeled. Fortunately another rider managed to straighten it enough to get the bike back to the parking lot, by wacking it against the tar numerous times.

 

Thanks to Darryl and Paul from Cube for offering to run back so that Laulil could ride your Cube back, and the beer afterwards.
