Theseason of these fun & popular hikes kicks off with two hikes end ofOctober! Rated as the most beautiful sunset & moonrise in the Cape, you’llhike through the Renosterveld Conservancy to the top of Klapmutskoppie to seespectacular views of the winelands and Table Mountain in the distance.

 

 

Dates: Sunday, 28 October & Monday 29 October

 

Times: Arrival by 17h00 no later than 18h00

 

The earlier thebetter, so you have more time to spend on the mountain!

 

Sunset 19h12- Moonrise 18h09 (on Sunday) &Moonrise 19h05 (on Monday)

Venue: Dirtopia Trail Centre, Delvera Farm, R44,between Klapmuts & Stellenbosch

 

Cost: R60 per person (kids 9 years old and younger pay R25) includes your permit,map and optional shuttle

 

Distance: 9,75km total, 5kmoption with farm vehicle assistance to half-way mark.

 

What to bring: Don’t forget tobring something warm to wear after dark! Wear hiking shoes – you areclimbing a mountain. Torches needed – also for sale at Trail Centre.

 

General: Snacks (evenpicnics) & drinks available at Trail Centre.
