Still training for the 94.7 MTB Challenge ? Or are you taking part in the OFM MTB Race ? Then we have the ideal training ride for you !!!

With the help of a keen mountain biker we have devised this trail to suite even the thrill-seeker !!! The 34km is for the intermediate rider and is ideally situated as a last minute training session for the OFM MTB Race. The 50km is for the more adventurous and the ideal training you will need for the 94.7 MTB Challenge !!!

The route will offer you dirt road, lots of technical single-track, rocky descents, spectacular river-side track and an old railway iron bridge crossing.

Which race are we talking about exactly ? Well I’ll tell you….

The Totalindex Outback MTB Challenge will take place on Saturday, 27 October 2012, in Villiers (which is just an hour’s drive from JHB). The race will once again start and finish at Villiers High School BUT will not follow the same route as in 2011. There is a BRAND NEW ROUTE !!

The race is held in conjunction with Villiers High School’s Market Day. There is also a 4x4 Trail ride scheduled for the afternoon. Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day !!! Food Stalls, Beer-Tent and much more will keep the kids entertained.

You can also stand a chance of walking away with one of our stunning lucky-draw prizes, which includes weekend-away packages, hampers, etc. There are also category prizes. Please note that participants (MTB Challenge) have to be present at prize giving to qualify.
