A HUGE thank you to The Cycle Shop in Swellendam

It is so refreshing this days to come across a cycle shop that goes the extra Mile, so here is a HUGE thank you to The Cycle Shop in Swellendam, who went out of their way to help an all girls DC team that was training in the area on Saturday. In short a derailer snapped and although Johan didnt have any in stock, he fixed the bike (single speed) and didnt charge us for his labour.

and the bike shop is worth a visit just for the history you can see in the place. Bona-fida SA champs jersey and medal from the '70's, as well as some of the first ever kit made in SA. hanging up on the walls.

 

That, of course, is an aside to the time and efforts freely given by Johan. TOTALLY AWESOME! next to the spar (down a little corridor), y'all. :-)
