Replacing Bottom Bracket Shell in Carbon Frame

Hi there, first post.

 

I have a 2011 GT bike, and the pressfit BB have a bit of play. It is microns, but it is still play. Flandria Cycles says the only thing for me to do is.

 

1. get a new frame

2. ride the current frame until it breaks

3. try to get a warranty claim

 

I've been searching the net and it seems to me that you can replace the BB shell. Minus points for Flandria not knowing this.. I searched and ProCycles and Trail and Tar does carbon frame repair.

 

Does anyone have advice/experience/referals for me on this matter?
