Howick – The 2013 edition of South Africa’s largest mountain biking festival, the Sappi Karkloof Classic MTB festival, got underway on Friday evening when a little over one hundred brave souls faced the chilly and soggy conditions and headed out onto the renowned Karkloof trails to compete in the festival opener, the Peri Night Race.
