I hear what you are saying but in my opinion it is expensive for what it is. Value for money.

 

And I also bought the alloy lens ring for peace of mind. So if any of my brackets (including GoPro brackets) then at least I won't loose my camera.

 

The K-Mount price (locally) is equal to a extra Hero 3 battery, or a decent 32GB micro SD...

 

The K-Mount it self is just a simple machined or casted piece anodized alloy, for R600 or R700 local... A tad expensive me thinks...
