New Cycling Video Show - your opinions wanted

Hi all,

 

I have wanted to making a cycling show on the net for awhile now. It is for all cyclists, but would start at the beginner level. As the show progresses, so does the cyclists skills, ability and they would be continually introduced to new cycling styles. My aim is to show cycling as fun and to encourage people to start cycling for commuting or on the weekends.

 

The first segment would start off with the family pulling their old forgotten bikes out of the garage, fixing them up and going on their first cycle locally.

 

After this, the show would have some but not all of the following segments each episode.

 

Profile biking trails and tours - Trails in capital cities, Rail Trails, Tors of the world, etc

DIY cycle - A mechanic shows how to do basic repairs or installations on your bike such as changing a flat tyre or choosing and installing bike lights.

Reviews and showcases of bikes and gadgets.

Interviews- Popular cyclists, Amy Gillett Foundation, local cycling groups, etc

Educational segments- Car vs bike to work, safe ways to cycle, environmental benefits of cycling, ride to work day, is your workplace cycle friendly, physical benefits of cycling, dust off that old bike in the garage, etc.

 

 

I have completed a pilot segment below of a profile of a biking trail through Norway. It is 7 minutes and I would like your feedback. Its not as polished as the show would be, some of the jokes are overstated, but i hope you can see what I am trying to achieve. I would include the map at the start with gradients and distance as well. Due to some of my song choices, this can not be viewed on mobiles yet im afraid

 

 

So what do you think? would you watch it? I have 10 episodes drafted. If you were an experience road cyclist, i would think you would still enjoy the weekly profile of a bike or rail trail?
