DT Swiss Nude 2 Issue

Twinlock has 2 air chambers - in reduced travel mode, only the first is active, giving a progressive spring rate. In full travel mode, the second chamber opens up which makes the spring rate more linear, increasing the amount of travel at the end of the stroke.

CTD is a platform / low speed compression adjustment with 2 settings and a bypass - the spring rate stays the same in all settings.

Will the Fox CTD be compatable with the Twinlock system on Scott, mine has the RShox on the front. From what I see CTD is meant to do Front, Rear and Dropper. I can't check their site properly due to the company firewall.....

I doubt it, but I can check. It'll depend on the lever pull.

I would love to know this as well. I have a Genius 910 and would be keen to swap out the Nude 2 for a Fox CDT with remote - just don't know if it's possible?

Thanks droo - appreciate it. Seems there are a few takers on this....

I would also like to wop the DTSwiss on my spark for a fox - dunno why Scot uses the fox upfront and DtSwiss in the rear? I would not trade the twinlock system for anything , what an amazing sysem!

Hey sorry to resurrect this thread, but I really like the twinloc adjustable travel idea and thinking about getting a Nude 2 for a new build, is it really as bad as it sounds or can I do pre-emptive service to it to make sure it doesn't fail?

The remote lock seemed to be working fine - would adjust the shock harder and softer as per norm - the travel still only goes half way and stops. It is a solid stop, like hitting something solid, not a progressive fade to a point.

(Luckily I have had no leaks since the last one was replaced....)

I had the same problem on mine on my Scott Spark 940, that definite stop - feels like the shock bottoms out. I sent it to dt swiss, still dont know what the problem was, but R 1100 later it now works fine again. I will however first chance I get swop this with a Fox shock!
