Rockman cycle route training day

Hi guys

 

we will be having a cycle route training day on the 6th of October 2013

 

Time: 08H00 for 08H30

 

we will have some cold 32GI at the finish and we will provide some braais if anybody wants to stick around afterwards for a couple of cold ones

 

there is no charge for this so please come and join us for the ride

Based on the turnout yesterday, i am sure we will have another training day, there is still alot of work that we have to put into the route in terms of smoothing out sections but the feedback from yesterday was good and general consensus is the Rockman is NOT going to be a walk in the park

I saw a Spectrum Sport add via email that there would be another training ride this Sunday (17/11/2013) at Vaal Peninsula Estate. Is this still on?

Yes it is, just asked the same question on FB, start at the Peninsula on Vaal, check their FB page all info on there.

Cool - thanks! My partner is not entered for Rockman but was wondering if she could come along and do 1 lap on Sunday too - would that be ok?

Thanks for the ride yesterday. It was great to have a spin around the course. The course was cool just a bit muddy - I hope race day is a bit drier because that sticky mud adds kilos to the bike! See you all in two weeks time.

although we cant promise that there won't be mud on race day we will have dedicated wash down areas on the course to clean your bike on race day! Glad you enjoyed the route!
