Looking for some cyclists to join and form a Welcoming group.Cycling from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth and Back to raise Awareness for Old Age Homes. Waiting on Cape Town to REPLY.I will be departing from Cape Town CBD, Civic centre. Day 1. 28th January. Cape Town to Heidelberg, 280km Waiting on ( Cape Town TOO EARLY),Caledon, Swellendam and Heidelberg to REPLY.On Voortrekker rd, R102 to Somerset West.Through Sir Lowry's village then onto Sir Lowry's pass. Passing Grabouw, Houwhoek, Botrivier, Caledon, Middelton, Riviersonderend, Stormsvlei, Swellendam. Day 2. 29th January. Heidelberg to Plettenberg Bay, 260km Have got some REPLYS.Passing Riversdale, Albertina, Gourits, Mossel Bay.Using service roads from Mossel Bay to Klein Brakrivierstrand. Passing George, Wilderness, Sedgefield, Knysna. Day 3. 30th January. Plettenberg Bay to Port Elizabeth, 250km Have got some REPLYS.Passing Keurboomstrand, Humansdorp, Thornhill. Guest Frail4Life Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Starting Point is the Civic Centre in Cape Town, Hertzog Boulevard, same start as the Argus.My kitBicycle is fitted with 3 LED lenser lights and one on my Helmet, enough light for a LightHouse.Backup batteries for the lights, with a Solar Panel.Two bottles, water and energade, distances average 50km till next Town.I have a good hand pump and carry bombs for emergencies.I have 3 new tubes and a patch kit.Food, I carry Supplements for a Milkshake, Protein/ Carbohydrate.Windbreaker for the mornings.Cellphone
