Kuilsrivier Langverwacht rd towards Bottelary

is this rd allowed to cyclist, not sure if this is public or private road

When I stayed in Kuilsriver I use to ride that road often with no problems.

 

Not sure if this falls under the Bottelary Hills permit. I would say, if you do not climb over any fences it should be fine. The farm workers would probably also use that road.

 

Or just pop in at one of the big farm houses and ask them, that is probably the right thing to do.

We used that route a couple of times, and I dont have a permit for that. I do have a permt for the Botlery Hills routes. Yes there are dogs on route. We had no gates at the time of using the route. Enjoy.

I use that route regulary. No gates and never had problems with dogs or people. Only motorbikes not allowed.

Used it yesterday morning, and will use it again. Went pass a couple of what looked like farm-workers houses, but everyone was still sleeping when i passed.

also no dogs.
