Entry level bike

Hi Guys

 

After yesterdays discussion on the size of bike I need, the general consensus was that I should rarther go for a XL size bike.

 

I wouldn't mind buying second hand, but as XL size bikes are very rare (Espesically in KZN)

I might as well just buy a new bike.

 

My Budget is about R6k - 8K. I realise that's not much, but what would you guys recommend?

 

Locally I can get the following:

GT Karakoram Sport - 29" - R5 700

Merida Big 9 100 - 29" - R7 700

Mongoose Meteor- 26" - R7 500

Personally I would go for the GT,but the Merida is probally better spec'd bike
