XO Gripshifts with XT groupset?

Are there guru's or current users that can tell me if I can use a set of XO 2x10 Gripshifts with an all XT drivetrain 2x10?

 

Please no speculations, only answer if you know the answer

Nope. Shimano and Sram have different ratios for their shifters. (It won't pull the cable the same amount). There is however an Attack Gripshift by SRAM which has the same ratio as Shimano, but it's only 9 speed as far as I know.

Just remembered, the front one should work (Shimano and SRAM front shifters have the same actuation ratio), but the rear definitely has a different ratio.

 

Dunno why Shimano doesn't make gripshifts, I think there would be enough people who would want it. I keep chafing my thumb against my right shifter and I'd definitely like to have gripshift.
