hi all

My first post here I think

Has anyone heard of or has any experience with O2 hubs? I have the option of buying Easton EA90XC rims with these hubs.

I've never heard of them and can't seem to find anything while researching the net.

Any advise/opinions will be appreciated.

Welcome!

O2 is being distributed by Omnico, who also distribute Easton wheels. An O2 catalog can be found here. Maybe contact them and ask them to prove the brands worth?

I ride the O2 Pathfinder hub on my front wheel. It appears to be quality materials and well built. I have been very happy with it so far, spins like a dream. I've only had it for a month, so can't make any judgment on its reliability and wear yet.

Sorry, I only had the link (which I got from Google). Didn't keep a copy of the catalogue.

Update: My O2 front hub that I referred to in April is still going strong.

Suidwes, are you looking at the Lefty Easton wheelset?, from my experience the O2 hubs are very good.. i believe you dont get them anymore though?? and my experience with Easton is also very good... the rims are rock solid, i am not to keen on Easton Hubs but the O2 with Easton rims should be a winner

No its not for a Lefty. The wheelset i can get is an O2 hub on the front wheel and a Easton Mi-221 hub on the rear...

Now that you mention that the easton hubs are not to good it makes me think now...

i know of a few guys that have had issues with the Easton rear hub... actually one of the guys changed the easton rear hub with an O2 hub (red) and you couldn't even tell the difference unless you looked closely
