Bester Posted May 7, 2014 Share Has anybody done the Sondela MTB Classic (close to Bela-Bela) last year? It just so happended that this race is on when will be staying at Sondela on our way the the KNP at the end of June. I cant find it on the events calendar here, and just wondering if it is worth taking the bike with for this.
BarHugger Posted May 7, 2014 Share Take the bike.....ride the race with friends......send the bike back with them before going to KNP. You will enjoy the race....flat, fast, twisty, sandy and dusty......while seeing some wildlife. One advantage with this race is that you are never far from help and civilization. TALUS Posted May 7, 2014 Share You will enjoy riding there. No technical sections (except some patches of loose sand) though. Kilometers of very twisty singletrack - fast.

TALUS Posted May 18, 2014 Share My first S/S race. 1:55 with a flat tyre and rode all of it. Proud of myself. So nice to see many kids riding. A great event. A fantastic weekend out with two good races. Awesome organisation. Edited May 18, 2014 by TALUS

Stark Posted May 18, 2014 Share It was a great day out, the sand traps were a bit of a missions and they could have had another water point around the 15km mark, but I still loved it. Where can we get the results?
ycowley Posted May 18, 2014 Share Nice ride except for the sand. Great support from Sondela employees. Always a nice weekend. Also wondering about the results.
