Tubeless conversion using Maxxis Sphinx tires??

Hi guys.. Newbie mtber here.. a mate and I managed with a little difficulty to convert my 29er tires to tubeless today.. used Stans...

A footpump didnt work so we rode to the nearest petrol station. . After a few minutes of trying, we managed to get the tires to inflate and seal...

We realised later that my tires are wire bead tires not kevlar ones etc (not exactly first prize)

So at the moment the tires are inflated and seem solid.. but will they hold on a trail or will they jump off the rim?

The concern is that the tires themselves seemed very loose around the rims, hence the difficulty in getting them to imflate etc.

Any advise would be appreciated.
