Longer Thule wheel straps

Has anyone found longer wheel straps, I find the ones on my rack just a bit lacking when you put town bikes on and want them to be one to the right and one the left to make space for longer handle bars etc.

 

I have the Thule euroway g2 and was thinking that surly someone with 80mm wheels etc will have the same problem, one can move/slide the wheel supports out but the straps remain in the same place.

 

Any ideas? Or does one get longer straps ( my googling have not delivered decent results)

Thule sells those tie down type ones. I've changed to them for deep sections. Thule branded ones are a bit pricey, but generics work just as well.

I have the G3 and have been wondering if it would be possible to transport a fatbike on it if long enough wheelstraps could be found or improvised.
