News bot Posted September 3, 2014 Share Fabio Aru (Astana) rode to victory on the 11th stage of La Vuelta a Espana. The young Italian arrived 6 seconds before the GC favourites group where Alejandro Valverde (Movistar) crossed the line 2nd and Joaquim Rodriguez (Katusha) was 3rd. Even though the stage finished at the summit of the San Miguel de Aralar, there was very little change to the GC.
