Fork question, Axle to Crown?

I currently have a 26" Reba with 120mm travel.

I would like to get a fork with more travel, 140mm, and thru axle dropouts such as Revelation.

But lately it seems like it’s a lot easier finding a 27.5 version of the fork than a 26" version, and this got me thinking. Would it be possible to run a 27.5" fork on 26” bike?

 

So looking at axle to crown lengths below:

 

Rev 150 26" Axle to Crown Length: 528mm

Rev 150 27.5 Axle to Crown Length: 539mm

Reb 120 26" Axle to Crown Length: 493mm

 

If you space a 150mm 27.5" Rev down to 140mm the A to C should be 529mm right?

The difference between a 26" Reb 120 and a 27.5" Rev 140mm should 36mm, would this make a huge difference to handling?

The bike has currently got a 68deg head angle, what would the head angle be with a 27.5" 140mm fork?

Lastly, think it will look weird?
