Entry level +- R10k hardtail

HI there, as per the topic I am looking for an entry level bike with decent specs. I've been told to look for a 27.5" although 29" is also ok. I found a Merida Big-9 500 for R10500.00

I am 6.1" (187cm) and weigh 87kg so looking for a large frame. I've checked the classifieds but haven't found anything yet. Also open to 2nd hand options.

Also look at the Silverbacks. They are normally well specced for their price range compared to other brands.
