Jannie Louw Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Hi, I am looking to buy a 29r. I came across what looks like a good deal R9500.00 For Bike like new, helmet, speedo, bike rack, pedals and shoes(like new) Would you rate this as a good buy?Any opinions on the Bike?
DieVlieg Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I have a Titan Elite and it is a well built bike but no race machine. The price new was about R9500 but I think mine was a 2012 (The blue model). If you like a bit of competitiveness then rather pay more for a carbon bike as the Tiatan Elite I have is close to 14.5 kg. There is a carbon Titan in the classifieds section for 15k or 17k with XTR components which weighs 11kg The extras should be evaluated but this bike alone is not worth 9 500 second hand
