JXV Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 A lot of mechanically minded folks here including suppliers so hopefully some of the feedback will actually feed back. The idea is to briefly outline any innovations you would like to see in the cycling world. Here's my 1st suggestion:Chains, cassettes and some other components are pretty much standardised and compatible across brands so why not a standardised/universal handlebar clamp with attachment points for shifters, brake levers and remotes for suspension/droppers. This could reduce weight and improve ergonomics at fairly low cost. The system would have to allow a bit of adjustment for fine tuning the position of each component to rider's preference....quite easily done, I have a few ideas on this.
