Definitive Bike Fit judgment thread

Hi Guys,

 

Where is the absolute best bike fit facility in SA ??

 

What have been your experiences with the place you've been to ? 

 

Which are the good ones and which are to be avoided.....

I have been very impressed with the guys at Cycle Fit, they are based in Johannesburg - they do however push for selling saddles, handlebars etc, which is fine if you are looking for an upgrade and have cash to burn.

 

I must also mention Koos at CycleLab Fourways, not sure about the rest of the team, but Koos is a down to Earth guy who doesn't stress on over-selling, rather just gives good solid advice, always found his service to be top-level.

 

There have been others which I have not been impressed by, but I will leave them out of this!

I agree with FlyingScot on this one. I was happy and referred a few guys there and all have been happy with their service.

 

But be carefull they have lots of lekka stuff that they pretty good at convincing you that you really need it. they obv. not married. !!!

I spend 98% of my riding time on my mtb  with a  few 100km rides spread out far between each other on my road bike,   I did the DC this weekend.  I once again was amazed by the fact that I had no shoulder stiffness or aces or pains anywhere on my body.  I believe it is because of my bike fit and setup done by Petrus of Mrace in Paarl.
