Its an awesome bike to ride. When you can, upgrade that front fork and you will be a rocket. Enjoy

That fork is only temporary, just had to get the build done. The right one has not been found yet.

Got a few friends keeping an eye out for me, so quite sure the correct Air fork will surface shortly and then make an appearance on my bike.

Ok, build is now finished.

Fitted a RockShox Gold Air fork. Made a huge improvement in the handling, and best of all, cut a full Kilogram of weight from the bike.

Very happy with bike so far. Climbs really well and is very stable.

LOVE MY BIKE.

20191002_154917.jpg.4cf109903b5899b890c97bf4354fcb3e.jpgWow, blast from the past. This Otec now lives on as a hybrid gravel bike. She was retired for a year or so after I secured a dual suspension MTB frame and most her running gear was utilised on the "new" frame. I then revived her as a gravel bike, using odds and ends I had in boxes and cupboards.

But to answer your question, no I unfortunately do not any further info on the bikes/guy, except that the frames is originally branded Haibike in Germany, quite a well known and respected brand. They once upon a time sponsored a top female cyclist (she even competed in The Epic on a Haibike a few years back.) But they now focus more on e-bikes these days.

Best of luck in your research.
