XO Crank, Stripped 8mm bolt?

I had they sinking feeling as I tightened the 8mm XO crank bolt and it kept turning,

on inspection it looks like the anchor bolt has stripped{i hope it is this the problem}

Has anyone had this issue before, and are these bolts readily available?

Ask your LBS to order a bolt for you from the SRAM agents.  I have had to replace one before as well, due to over tightening it and breaking it.

Great news, I was worried the crank was damage beyond repair, it sounds like a few have had this problem and hopefully a new bolt will solve it

Make sure you re-tap the hole in the crank if the nut is not separate, otherwise you might bugger up the new bolt.
