The Pedal2Medal Stage Race Camp is aimed at preparing participants for a 3 or more day stage race such as the Cape Epic, Cape Pioneer or Wines2Whales. Our camps are aimed at providing a rich experience filled with constant interaction between you and our coaches. We pride ourselves in considering your needs and concerns and finding solutions together so that you can perform to your best. At the camp you will learn how to look after yourself over consecutive days of riding. We will teach you to plan your event, take care of your recovery and learn to eat the right foods. We will provide specific skills training according to your level of riding and advice on your bike setup and posture. We will teach you how to maintain your bike, fix mechanical failures you might experience on route and give you tips on tricks that make life easier.

Options

There are two options available for the training camp. Those that have limited time available can join the first three days of the camp (Fri – Sun). Everyone who has a bit more time can join the full five days (Fri – Tue).

Price

The following is included in the pricing:

• 4 x lunch pack including food and drinks
  
• All land access permits
  
• Coaching: bike setup, skills, fitness and injury avoidance training
  
• 2 x Workshops: bike maintenance, tyre and suspension tuning and mechanical failure training
  
• Off the bike: planning, recovery and nutrition advice
  

The prices exclude:

• Transport to and from the camp
  
• Accommodation, breakfast and dinner
  
• Snacks and any drinks/alcoholic beverages
  
• Supplements and personal on the bike nutrition
  
• Spare parts
  
• Any other personal requirements, eg. tooth brush, mobile phone services etc.
