Best place to buy a HT MTB frame and see prices online

I currently have a Scott Spark 950 2014 but want to switch to a Hardtail. So was thinking of getting a decent alow ort carbon frame hardtail, sell my softail frame and with the profit upgrade the bike.

No questions.

Where is the best and most cost effective place to look for frames ( online would be best as I can compare prices)

What can I expect to get for my scott 950 frame and rear shock

There really is no one place to look. Very few places sell hardtail frames online, although many LBS's do of course stock frames hanging up in their shops.

 

I can for the moment only suggest the Swift Carbon Detritovore. It is highly recommended by BikeRadar, with high quality construction, interchangable rear axle to thru-axle and great looks imho. It costs about R 17 000 for the frameset, but that was about 6 months ago, so it might be like R 18k now.
