What will fit my silverback

I have a silverback velo4. I want to fit a 2.25 tubeless on the back.

 

Will it work or will the tyre be to wide?

Think you've got the model wrong, it can be a Sola4 (2014/2015) or Vida4 (2012/2013). In 2011 I think the model was called Segma Two Nine.

 

Assuming that you have one of Silverbacks 29 inch Hardtail MTB models, I think its safe to say a 2.25 tire should fit perfectly (with sufficient mud clearance). Some frames have a problem fitting 2.4 wide tires, unless they specifically state they can fit the wider tires.

 

My wife has a 2014 Sola4 and there is more than enough clearance to go fromt he 2.1 inch wide maxis to possibly 2.3 inch wide tires.
