Any one running the above mentioned combination on their road bikes? What is your normal reading when calibrating the power-tap before a ride?

Have he same setup, only the newer G3 hubs show the correct range of around 512....

The SL+ is of the older generation and does not display the correct calibration factor.

What factor does yours typically display?

Mine started at about 472 and has steadily dropped over the past 3 months to 405 now. I've also had to swap the batteries 7 Dec and today again.

512 is the optimum factor I think less that 490, is deemed to be to far out to be accurate...

I took mine back to Bicycle Power, Dave calibrated it and is now fine...

Try resetting it MULTIPLE times in a row - like 10 -20 - if that does not work, then send it in...

He means "callibrating" on the Garmin.

The number MUST be 500 +- 12 that is what Bicycle power SA told me.

and the garmin does not acutally do a calibration, it merely READS the PT's calibration.

Try removing the battery and leave it out or about 3hours + then put it back and check the calibration.

If still not within range, send it in for a proper calibration.

R250 and R150 postage either way....

Just had mine done.
