CAPE TOWN CYCLE TOUR - ENTRIES AVAILABLE!

The Children's Hospital Trust is offering limited charity spots for individuals who wish to cycle for more than a well-deserved medal in the upcoming Cycle Tour.

What does a charity entry cost?

  • Charity entries cost only R630 as stipulated by the organisers (if paid before 30 January)
  • Late entries will cost R830 as stipulated by the organisers (includes a R200 admin fee for late entries)

What is included in the charity entry?

  • We’ll kit you out in our branded cycling top
  • A preferred charity start time, in the past our team has started just after 9am but this will only be confirmed in February. If you qualify for an earlier start time you are more than welcome to start in that group
  • Photographs to capture your courage
  • An invitation to a riders brunch to meet the team & to take a tour of the Hospital
  • Easy collection of race packs and cycle tops from our stand at the Cycle Tour Expo
  • Support a great cause!

I already have an entry - can I still enter your team?

No problem, we would be happy to convert your standard entry to a charity entry at a cost of R200 plus you get to enjoy the benefits listed above.

What is expected from the team?

We ask each charity rider to commit to raising a minimum donation of R2000 by the end of March. This can be done in various ways i.e. ask friends and family to make a donation in lieu of your efforts / ask your company to sponsor you (they will receive tax and BEE benefits).

I am interested – what do I do next?

Please complete the attached entry form and email it back to tara.vanschalkwyk@chtrust.org.za. Please note that the deadline for all admin and entries is 30 January 2015.

What will the funds raised be used for?

Collectively our team will be raising much needed funds towards the implementing of a Speech-Language Therapy and Audiology Services pilot project.

This programme aims to address the lack of adequate access to Speech-Language and Audiology Services at some healthcare levels. The objectives are for more children to have access to preventative, rehabilitative and curative services closer to home, thereby reducing the burden on tertiary hospitals and simultaneously strengthening the holistic healthcare continuum.
